02Independent project
Rec0m88 is an independent project built and maintained by s-coding23.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated in connection with rec0ded88.com, rec0ded88.vu, or any other similarly named site. Rec0m88 previously existed as a page hosted on rec0ded88.com; that arrangement ended in December 2025, and Rec0m88 has operated as a fully separate, independent project ever since.
03Emulation & asset protocol
Rec0m88 is a software engineering project. We provide the emulation platform; we do not provide the data files.
Rec0m88 provides a proprietary emulation platform strictly for educational and personal use. Specifically:
- No ROM distribution. We do not host, distribute, or provide downloadable ROM files.
- User responsibility. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they possess the legal right to use any digital assets loaded into our platform.
- Support creators. We encourage all users to support game manufacturers by purchasing original hardware and software.
04External arcade modules
The Rec0m88 Online Arcade features game modules provided by external gaming networks. While we strive to provide only quality experiences:
- We have no direct control over the specific content within these third-party modules.
- Links to external gaming catalogs do not imply a recommendation for all content found therein.
- When you launch a third-party game, you may be subject to that provider’s specific privacy and data terms.

The views and opinions expressed in the Rec0m88 community or commentary sections are those of the individual authors and do not necessarily reflect the official position of Rec0m88.
