SAMENVATTING:
Bloons Tower Defense 5, usually referred to as Bloons TD 5, Bloons TD5, or simply BTD5, is the fifth main installment in the Bloons TD series. It is the successor to Bloons TD 4 and its derived games, expanding on the series by introducing several new game mechanics, towers, upgrades, Bloon types, game modes, and unlockable features, as well as being the first game in the series with cooperative multiplayer. Bloons TD 5 served as the basis for Bloons TD Battles and Bloons Monkey City, all three of which share most of the same game mechanics, towers, upgrades, and Bloon types. These games are often referred to collectively as the "Bloons TD 5 Generation" by fans. Bloons TD 5 has multiple versions across different platforms, with significant differences between them.

Het tijdperk van Flash-gaming is een van de meest creatieve periodes in de geschiedenis van webgebaseerd entertainment. Bloons TD 5 maakt deel uit van deze rijke erfenis, oorspronkelijk gebouwd met behulp van Adobe Flash-technologie die miljoenen browserspellen in de jaren 2000 en begin 2010 van stroom voorzag.

Toen Adobe in december 2020 Flash Player stopzette, dreigden duizenden geliefde games digitaal uit te sterven. Dankzij de Ruches open-source Flash Player emulator - gebouwd in Rust en gecompileerd naar WebAssembly - leven deze klassieke titels voort in moderne browsers zonder dat er plugins of downloads nodig zijn.

Bloons TD 5 wordt hier gepresenteerd als onderdeel van ons initiatief om Flash Games te behouden. Het originele SWF-bestand wordt rechtstreeks geladen door de sandboxed emulatieomgeving van Ruffle, waardoor de authentieke spelervaring behouden blijft en compatibiliteit met alle huidige apparaten en browsers gegarandeerd is.
