Super Tilt Bro.
Super Tilt Bro.
Super Tilt Bro. is a Super Smash Bros.-style platform fighter built from scratch for the NES. Pick a fighter and battle it out on classic-style stages — play solo against the CPU or grab a second controller for local versus. The cartridge release famously adds online play via a Wi-Fi chip on the cart itself; that hardware feature only works on a real cartridge, so in the browser it runs as local 1–2 player.
Controls (default)
- Move / aim attacks: Arrow Keys (D-Pad) — hold a direction while attacking for different moves
- Attack: Q
- Special: W
- Jump: Up, or the attack/special directions as mapped in-game
- Start / menus: Enter (Start)
Tip: keys can be remapped from the emulator's control menu if you'd rather use Z/X.
Tips
- Hold a direction as you press attack or special to pull off different moves — each character has a full moveset.
- Recovering from off-stage is its own skill; learn each fighter's up-special before going for risky edge-guards.
- For two players, a second gamepad is the smoothest way to play.
